Memorial Day Blog Hop

I am really excited to be a part of this Memorial Day Blog Hop!  There are so many talented teachers willing to share their hard work with you.  This hop is in honor of the brave men and women that gave their lives for our country.  In hope by sharing these resources with all these teachers, we are giving back to the children.  We are honoring the past and paying it forward to the future generations.

I want to say thank you to everyone serving in the military, to the Veterans, and to their families.  We appreciate all that you do.  We can not thank you enough...

My contribution to the hop is a brand new product.  This math product is called "Backyard BBQ".  I thought it would be appropriate for all those picnics going on this weekend.  It is free for this weekend ONLY, so you don't want to miss it!!
We had a ton of fun playing this game.  I got out my red picnic containers to hold the cards,
a pair of silly tongs to grab the "food",
and we were ready to play!
Kids read the numeral on the BBQ and find the matching base ten blocks on the food cards.  They can record the numeral under the matching food on the extension worksheet.
Or, write the number in expanded form under the picnic table.
I added one more extension worksheet, where students will record the number of tens and ones under the matching food.
Fun and easy to prep!

I have a giveaway going on right now.  Two winners will get to choose any product from my Teachers Pay Teachers Store (excluding bundles)  You can enter in the Rafflecopter!
