"Teaching Makes Me Smile" Giveaway + Tons of Freebies!

I have a giveaway coming up on March 10th.  I wanted to host a giveaway for all of you wonderful teachers out there!  Teaching is a wonderful thing, but also can be tiring.  For me, I am so grateful that teaching still makes me smile :)

I will be having two contests!  One is for ages Pre-K and K.  The other 1st and 2nd.  We will end up with two lucky winners!  I wanted to showcase these wonderful teachers and their products.  I hope that you will find some amazing ideas and some inspiration!

Today, I will be showcasing all the Pre-K and K products.  Feel free to check out their stores and their showcased freebie!  Don't forget to leave some love!

Teacher Tam has donated Spring Cut and Color Math and Literacy for Kindergarten.  This set contains 40 cut-and-glue pages of math and literacy practice in a color or cut-and-glue format. All of them have a spring theme. They cover addition, subtraction, place value, short vowel word families, sight words, sentences, and more!  Check out her St. Patrick's day freebie here.

2 Scoops of Kindergarten donated an awesome product:  Kindergarten Opinion Writing.  Kindergartners will learn what an opinion is and how to write a paper on their opinion. First your students will brainstorm with you, fill out graphic organizers and then write independently. Included are three different opinion writing prompts. Check out her free Smart Board Number Representation here.

The Brainy Boutique donated Extraordinary Easter Eggs Color Unit.  This Easter teach and reinforce identifying colors and color words with this packet from The Brainy Boutique.  This packet includes two center games and two worksheets. Each activity provides two options: The color word written in black and in the corresponding color.  Check out this freebie on winter addition here.

Erin Holleren donated Weather Vocabulary Cards.  This pack includes vocabulary cards for the following weather words; cloud, partly cloudy, sun, rain, thunder, lightning, hail, tornado, rainbow, and snow.
These cards are perfect for pocket chart, writing centers, and science activities. Each card includes the vocabulary word and a corresponding picture, so that all child can successfully determine which word is on each card. Check out her free letter and number cards here.

Jennifer Drake donated Spring "Roll, Say, Flip, and Reveal"!  This EDITABLE pack includes 18 spring themed game boards that can be made for ELA and/or math practice and review!  Because they are editable, they are perfect for differentiation and multi-grade classrooms! This game is easy enough for PreK students (ID letters/numbers/connect picture to letter/sound) but can be fun for older grades to play (higher level math, spelling patterns, word problems etc), as well!  Check out one of my favorite freebies from Jenn:  her decomposing monster and printables!

Bee's Knee's donated ABC's to the Max.  This 54 page alphabet packet will help your students learn their alphabet in a fun and engaging way! This packet includes: Alphabet Matchup, Alphabet Treasure Map, Alphabet Workout, and Alpha-bees Cards.  Check out this cool St. Patrick's Day freebie.

Jennifer Bazzit donated Fill-in-the-Blank Predictable Text Readers: Pre-K, K, and 1st.  This product provides predictable text activities and reading practice in a "little reader" format. I love using these readers with my students because they can write in them, take them home, and share them with classmates.  The text of these readers encourages students to practice CVC words and sight words. My students enjoy these little readers because they feel like they are helping to write the story.  Check out this freebie!

We have a winner's choice from Kb3Teach, so be sure to check out the whole store :)  Check out this awesome freebie!

My Heart Belongs in Kindergarten donated Opinion Writing (Introduction for Beginning Writers).  Introduce your beginning writers to the idea of opinion writing with this fun set of printables. Page by page you'll build the foundation that your students will need later on to write opinion pieces with supporting details. This set includes a total of 12 different writing prompts - 24 pages total. (See thumbnail image for a preview.) Students simply read the question, choose one of two featured pictures then write their opinion. They can even color the pictures that matches their writing! Please note that I have included pages with and without the writing prompt so you can differentiate your instruction. Check out this freebie.

Kidology donated a Teacher Yearly Plan Book/ Editable.  I am not the most organized person, so I REALLY need this!!!  This teacher binder was designed to help teachers get and stay organized throughout the school year. This teacher planner includes more than 40 different cover pages that can be used as either binder covers for multiple binders or as dividers within one larger binder. The variety of options of binder covers / dividers can been seen in the product preview. This download also includes editable binder covers / dividers enabling you to customize the planner and create a convenient and practical organizational system that will work for you. (In order for this product to be editable you will need to have the power point program). In addition to the covers and dividers, there is a variety of classroom forms, calendars (monthly, yearly) lesson planning templates (daily, weekly) and forms for a substitute binder.   Check out her All About Letters freebie!

Life Over C's donated one of my favorite products EVER!  This is such an awesome idea and right up my alley!  Interactive Ten-Frames and number bonds for your whole class to enjoy! Students will get up and moving around with this life-size ten-frame set. They can work in partners or small groups to find sums and missing addends. Create a ten frame (or double ten-frame) on your floor or wall with removable tape and print the flowers that are included in the pack on two different colors of paper. Then use the ten-frame to create number bonds from 0-20. Students will draw one of the number bond cards out of box and then set to work building it with two different colors of flowers. This hands-on activity will quickly help students visualize how number bonds and fact families work.
There are two types of number bond cards included: missing addends and missing sums. For further practice, a set of flowers and a smaller ten-frame are included for use in your math centers with the number bond cards. After your whole class or small group activity, follow up with the included number bond and ten-frame assessment sheets. To check out her freebie click here.
